Great location and good staffing outside of the dining hall.

Beautiful as always and great location with beautiful sea view.

Nothing about the property but some of the dining staff could’ve shown more enthusiasm when interacting with me and my family. It is as though, we were an afterthought or a nuisance.

The food was great, hotel has a lot of pools, change of towels every day...

They try to fool us with a "better" room which of course was not as good as the one we booked. When we asked them for the other room they gave us the right room without of problem.

Not bad, wouldn’t stay again.

A bit outdated, it would have been nice to have some more amenities in the room such as a coffee machine, smart TV, cutlery. We had to ask for a kettle for the room just to have a cup of tea. Not impressed by the €15 towel charge at the checkout; we had asked for beach towels at the start of our stay and staff were very accommodating, however at no point did they make us aware there was a charge for these towels and not even as a rental deposit but €15 each for towels that were returned at the end of the stay. At that price we could have purchased some to keep. Staff were very deceptive about this charge.

The location was very good

The AC was not working well and it was very hot in the room at night. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The breakfast had very limited options to choose from.

A real gem

The hotel manager and staff were great, the pools and thermal baths were a real treat and our room with a terrace was fantastic. The view was breathtaking. The breakfast was sufficient and also had a lovely view. Really a fantastic stay and a great island to visit.

The beds were OK but not awesome, and the pillows need replacing. The pools could be open a little later too. However I would highly recommend this hotel and return there myself.

Exceptional

swimming pool was the best in my opinion, very well looked after from morning to night. Felt almost like at a spa with a beautiful view of the mountain in front. Also the location is brilliant, just a couple minutes walk down to the beach where you can swim in the sea and its a super relaxing area. Also only a short walk from the town (forgotten the name) but it was a great area to stay in for 5 days.

Great spa and atmosphere, room comfort to be improved.

The swimming pools above all: the outdoor one was at the right temperature to relax under the stars. If a temperature boost was needed, the inside pools were just perfect. Hotel was full but plenty of space for everyone. Hotel staff very nice and helpful, and overall atmosphere very pleasant, all in Ischia style.

Our room (154) was spacious enough, nice ocean view and balcony. But it was very hot (even when keeping the window open) and the soundproofing very poor, as we could hear everything coming from the corridor or from the neighbours.

Wonderful

I recommend this hotel. We felt very comfortable here from the moment we arrived. Everything cozy and clean. All the employees from the reception, to the staff in the restaurant and at the bar and especially the cleaning lady were always willing to help with their own problems and make our stay better. What we really appreciated was the choice of menu in the restaurant, where you decide whether you want lunch or dinner. The pool was large and had plenty of sunbeds. It's a big pity that the other spa facilities, such as the showers, the hot tub and the kneipp bath, are on the other side of the hotel and the sun doesn't shine there anymore in the afternoon. A five minute walk from the hotel is the thermal baths of Negombo and on the other hand the small town of Lacco Ameno, so the location of the hotel is amazing. There is also a bus stop right next to the hotel. Although the rooms are smaller, they were enough for a night's sleep. The balcony was large, unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to have a room with a sea view, because it was already occupied, but the view of the garden to the highest mountain, Monte Epomeo, was very nice. We have been to the island for several times, but this is the first time in this hotel and we will definitely use it for our next stay.

A beautiful old fashioned thermal spa with magnificent views and hot sea-water pools.

Make sure to ask for a room with a sea view and balcony in the main hotel as this is served by a lift. The pools in the hotel are wonderful, hot sea water with bubbles and water spouts, 2 inside and 4 outside, magnificent. There is a local bus stop right outside the hotel and the hotel provides a shuttle to the nearest ferry terminal and nearest village. The view by the main pool is wonderful, it looks over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius as did our room.

Unfortunately the food is not very good. Breakfast is fine but best to skip the evening meal and eat somewhere local. As previous reviews have stated most people staying there were Italian or German and older. This is not a hotel for children. As we were also older we loved the peace that a good old fashioned thermal spa brings.

Wonderful

- Rooms are nice and modern, the shower could be improved with a shower head (it only had main jet so really not ideal for showering kids). - In general the staff was professional and friendly, they gave our two daughters a large chocolate egg for Easter :) such a kind gesture - The pools are great and warm which is lovely for the spring/fall. - The food in the restaurant is delicious and they offer many options.

- Avoid the massages at the spa. I tried an Ayurveda massage but was super disappointed. The lady was rude, she did not cover me with anything so I had to ask to be covered, the oil was of poor quality, and smelled cheap perfume and not Ayurveda clearly. She started by putting oil all over my body and then massaged me part by part, no strength and did not ask me once how was the pressure. The music was nothing but relaxing. When she finished she left the room and then while I was putting back my clothes she entered without knocking. Not professional at all! - The restaurant is opening late for families. Breakfast starts at 8 am, lunch at 1 pm and dinner at 8 pm. Conscious Italians eat later but it would be nice to offer some earlier options for children, particularly evenings so they can go to bed at normal hours.
